Nice hard brass, straight, shipped fast, came in a bubble envelope. The 7/32" x 12" rod I ordered fit my AR 15 5.56 pistol barrel perfectly and two taps on the garage floor dislodged the stuck steel cartridge from the breech. Seems like I hit the aluminum cleaning rod harder, but to no avail, hence, the order of this brass rod. Good tool to have on hand if you shoot dirty steel or 22LR in your AR. If it happens in a rifle I'll have to order another to double up on the length.
