I give this pot a hug after I use it. It has helped me make tasty, nutritious food and is my friend in the kitchen. It's bottom is thick so things don't burn easily, and it's glass lid let's me see what's going on without my needing to let any cold air in. I haven't burned anything in it, so it's been a cinch to clean. They make it in various sizes, so you can find one that's just right for your needs! Bon appetit!The pot is very nice looking, solid, well made... good weight. Not to heavy. I love it..... cool to the touch handles and I love the clear glass top lid.The pot works like any pot should. But it’s a bit light. I will not try to pick it up when even partially full. The handles wouldn’t take it. I siphon the liquid out before moving it.We had a 6qt & a 16qt pot. One to big, and one too small, so We really needed a 12qt.I surfed around and found this wonderful stainless steel...good heavy pot, with thick capsulated bottom, which I need for my glass top stove. Also has great handles, that don't get hot, and I like the glass lid.It has quickly become our favorite soup pot. We are always making soup.Bought as a present for my boyfriends mom. She absolutely loves the fact that it is not as tall as a typical stock pot. It is more wide than tall. She loves it!This pot will be great for making large portions of soups and sauces to store in my freezer.I love love love this pot!! I use it all the time! It isn’t that thin stuff and it cooks great!!paid a lot for this pot because the answer to a question said it worked on induction. went to use it for the first time today and my induction cooktop does not work with it. I don't know if I canstill return it ,but will try.
